Our history
Parkview Real Estate with Long & Foster was built on a long tradition of experience, relationships, and client-focused service. Joan Dorsey began her real estate career with Long & Foster in 2002, quickly earning a reputation for her market knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to guiding clients through every step of the buying and selling process.
In 2011, Jim Dorsey joined Joan in real estate, bringing his own strengths in client care, negotiation, and business development. Together, they spent years serving the Richmond area, building a loyal client base largely through referrals and repeat business.
As their business continued to grow, Joan and Jim recently formed the Parkview Real Estate team to better manage their increasing volume while maintaining the personalized attention their clients value. Today, Parkview Real Estate combines decades of experience, a collaborative team approach, and a shared mission: to deliver trusted guidance, exceptional service, and successful outcomes for every client they serve.
